In your position as Sustainability Consultant, you execute green building certification processes and collaborate closely with our diverse client base to develop leading market ESG strategies. In your position as Sustainability Consultant, you execute green building certification processes and collaborate closely with our diverse client base to develop leading market ESG strategies. Your tasks
- Leading sustainable building certification projects for new construction and buildings in operation
- Real Estate portfolio assessments of existing buildings regarding sustainability criteria and decarbonization roadmaps
- Supporting our strategic consulting approach on interdisciplinary environment and sustainability topics in the building and real estate industry including further topics such as EU Taxonomy criteria, Carbon Performance, circular economy
- Working on international projects with our colleagues from our international sustainability hub, where project language English is required
- Supporting business development with participation at events and presentations to clients
Your profile
- Degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or comparable field of studies, a specialization in CSR/ESG and sustainability preferred
- Qualification/Accreditation in DGNB, LEED, BREEAM or other green building certifications
- Sound professional experience in leading and executing green building certification projects (preferably 3+ years of experience)
- Understanding of the Belgium market trends in sustainability and ESG issues
- Very good communication and writing skills in English and Dutch, French is a plus
- Willingness to work independently and goal-oriented
