Project Scheduler (f/m/d)

Your tasks
As an innovative and future-oriented company, we at Drees & Sommer act as a solution provider for highly complex projects and engineering partner in planning and realization of industrial sites in the semiconductor and battery cell production, automotive, life sciences, chemical, power plant and process technology sectors. We provide the design of technical facilities and buildings in-house, as well as all other services in the project value chain. We are looking for you to take responsibility for scheduling within highly complex EPCM projects.In this role you can work at any Drees & Sommer location of your choice within Germany according to personal preference.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and update comprehensive project schedules throughout highly complex EPCM projects in high-tech industries (e.g. semiconductor fabs, battery-cell production sites)
- Coordinate and collaborate with project managers, engineers, the construction team and external stakeholders to define work tasks and durations as well as conduct schedule reviews
- Responsible for maintaining time and resource planning in line with project objectives by identifying critical points and deriving strategies
- Develop and maintain resource allocation for the duration of the project, identifying any resource constraints
- Generate and analyze project control reports and progress reports to identify variances from the plan and recommend corrective actions to internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in the development of the project execution plan, highlighting any scheduling risks or opportunities
- Support the project management team in the planning and scheduling aspects of project risk management
Your profile
- Professional and personal development and the opportunity to participate in exciting EPCM projects in the high-tech industry
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project scheduling within the EPC/EPCM industry
- Strong understanding of engineering, procurement and construction processes
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project), PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with all levels of project personnel and stakeholders, German would be a plus
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail as well as strong organizational and multitasking skills
